review 1: If you're looking for a great book to exemplify the Every Child Ready to Read skill of Reading, look no further! This book is great for readers under age 3 to start gaining an appreciation of books and reading. Each picture not only shares children holding or interacting with books, but the pictures also compare size, shape, use, etc. of books. The children represent a diverse background, as well!
review 2: I didn't like reading this aloud. It's a good book in the sense that it shows children the possibilities around books and where you can find and read them. But, it was horrible to read aloud. It's for small children so the grammar doesn't make sense (as you'd expect) and I just found it a painful read. It might be better for young readers as they can rec... moreognise the words and discuss the pictures but it's not one I'd come back to. less
