review 1: I have yet to read a Chapman book I haven't loved. I started with the Dragon Warrior and have now read all the connected books to that storyline, so I decided to try her Scotish Warriors series by begining at the end lol (her most recently published story) and now I believe I will pick up all the previous Scotish Warrior books and read them as well. Good story, good connections between characters from different books which weaves together not just a tight story but a tight "world" that the stories take place in. Good book.

I love the way she can mingle a great, interesting st... moreory, with humor. Jessie is the embodiment of that. She lived through something horrible and was scarred by it, but still found the courage to keep living and keep smiling. Janet Chapman writes her so well that you don't know whether to laugh or cry right along with her, especially when she is shouting for her dog to find her "boob!" This series was really fun to read. Great characters, great stories, and that touch of fantasy that just adds to the total package. I will definitely have to investigate more of her works! less
