review 1: I really liked this one despite there being, on occasion, a little TOO much detail of the archaeological dig site action. Incredible world building. Such interesting cultural detail about all the various earth colonies on other planets and all the future tech was well integrated into the story so you could understand what they were talking about without needing explanation. Even the language was realistically futuristic. Basically a story about prejudice, this was fascinating, involving, and ultimately optimistic. Really loved it. Read it as an ARC copy.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book! I thoroughly enjoyed the main character, and could appreciate her motives. I liked that she was so typically "teen" in her emotions. I had a bit of a hard part with th
... moree middle section, which didn't entirely ring true to me. But I enjoyed the plot, and the setting was a really interesting look into a post-apocalypic future. I liked how this was more on the utopian side than the dystopian, and that the society seemed to really be working for the good of all people, even if so many still had their prejudices against different groups. I think both teens and adults would enjoy this interesting and well-written story! less

I forgot to mark that I read this book. I read the second one already. Waiting on the third book.

World building is a little shaky. Very tiny print. But so what, it is a good story.

I read this in about 6 hours. I couldn't put it down. It's amazing.
