review 1: Open Your Eyes is about second chances. Plain and simple. Second chances. Second chance at life, love, and living. What would you be willing to sacrifice for your happiness or those of those you love? What are you will to do for a second chance? That is what Natalie had to figure out. Emotional and heartfelt, Jani Kay has shown once again that reality doesn't always play out in fairy tale form but in the end love always prevails.
review 2: ***SPOILER***I can see why there are such high ratings, however this book left me feeling terrible in the end. I understand that Natalie was treated badly during her marriage, got separated and fell in love with another man. Natalie chooses to go back to her husband but treats him like crap when he thinks they are genuinely t... morerying to rectify their marriage. She constantly thinks about the other guy and even goes so far as to say his name during lovemaking with her husband. It all becomes too heartbreaking for her husband and when he has a heart attack he lets himself die instead of waking her lying in bed next to him to give her freedom to be with the other man. Sorry, but what a selfish bitch! less
