review 1: Book 1-RyderI love this book and the start of this series. Ryder is so hot, sexy, loyal, strong, and dominant. I love his dirty mouth and how he takes what he wants. I love how he calls Jade princess and babe and how he tells her that she is his and no other man will touch her. I love how their relationship first starts, how she battles him on all fronts, how she is smart mouthed with him, doesn't give him the attention he thought she would and then how he gives back to her just what she gives to him, they both keep denying what they are beginning to feel for each other. I hated what him and Max had to go through as kids, and then what happens to Ryder is terrible and thank goodness for Cobra and Razor. I love how he got his start in the MC club and of course he watches ou... moret for his "family" but what will this life do to Jade? Jade is the typical rich girl snob at first but then we got to see the real her when she was interacting with Mia and the kids and it was sad that she had to learn the hard way that just because a man had looks, money, and a degree it did not mean he wasn't a jerk and a loser. I am worried what will happen when her father and brother find out about Ryder and what is the "incident" that occurred years ago?????Book 2-Two Worlds CollidingI love these two together, I loved how he would not let her go home that first night, how they could not get enough of each other. All of the sex scenes in this part of the book were amazing, hot, and wild, I loved when he gave her spankings. I could not stand her father's reaction to her being with Ryder and what he said about her and Marcus. What Harrison and Jade witnessed all of those years ago breaks my heart and I could see why her brother was so angry but I still didn't understand why he generalizes groups of people, be angry at the group of people that were involved, not all bikers. I loved how he calls her different names such as princess, babe, and even better, baby. I don't like how Lexi acts, how she pushed herself onto Ryder not wanting to take no for an answer, and even after Lexi knows he likes Jade she still hopes they don't get together so she can have a chance with him, yuck I have to admit I was worried that Ryder was going to screw up and have sex with Lexi even though he didn't know they were cousins it would have been a betrayal if he really cared about Jade. I love that Jade surprised Ryder by showing up at the compound but I hated how her brother ruined everything. When Ryder shared his story with Jade my heart was breaking, how she reacted is how I would have reacted. I hated how they were made to choose between each other and their families, how Ryder said mean things trying to make their split easier, how Jade's heart was breaking. What a shocker finding out about Ryder's father, his extended family, and what had happened to his mother. The scene at the club was both funny and frustrating but glad it all worked out in the end. I really like Razor, why he is interested in Lexi is beyond me, she is only showing him interest because she finally sees that Ryder wants nothing to do with her, he is her second choice. I love how Ryder bears his feelings to Jade, telling her that he wants her to be his old lady, have his children, and finally he tells her he loves her. I can't wait to read the next book and I hope they finally have their HEA.
review 2: Great motorcycle erotic read. I liken it to Kristen Ashley's motorcycle man and Chaos series. I've been looking for another awesome MC book for awhile. It has everything a motorcycle book read needs. Hot guys, crazy antics, high class women who get hooked on the bad boys and raunchy dirty sex scenes. I give this a fat 9.5 out of 10 on the heat scale. Whoo Boy! The characters we're instantly loveable but if you can't handle a man calling his woman a bitch or a slut, this read is not for you. It "almost" turned me off but after awhile I kind of got used to it. There are also a couple really great villains in the story. less
