review 1: Well, what can I say? I generally hate giving a book a crap review but this was bad. The murder mystery plot seemed ok but it was the needless 50 shades type of "erotica" that kind of annoyed me. If you want a cheap read that there isn't much thinking in it and like ALL erotica then I say go for it, if you actually enjoy reading and love a book that makes you tick then I say Nah, stay away.Im just glad I downloaded it for free.
review 2: I love Jasmine's books and this one hooked me from the start: Max Starr, a damaged, wise-ass accountant with a psychic gift she pelts away from at the slightest provocation, teamed with her dead husband as Nora and Nick in the Thin Man, only her Nick, Cameron, was ripped from her in a convenience store hold-up. ... moreoignant. Yes, it is hot, as only Jasmine Haynes can pull off without hitting a wrong note, but with an underlying wash of a deep aching grief. The story barrels along with a cast of possible suspects for a murder Max witnesses in a psychic dream and then, on the urging of her beloved, at times annoying spouse, she tries to solve it. When her deceased spouse tries to act as match-maker, Max puts on the brakes. I don't want to put any spoilers in, just be ready for much steam, a lot of twists and haunting scenes between Max and Cameron, and a very satisfying end.I look forward to the next one! Come on, Jasmine - I finished this one in one day!! less
