review 1: So after reading the first book I was more than ready to read the second I purchased it straight away and started right in. This book didn't disappoint, it was a quick read that doesn't involve a lot of heavy thinking. It was my escape from a bunch of crazy & busy days. The characters were once again strongly written, independent, intelligent people. Additionally, I especially love the blend of fantasy, mythology, modern day and steampunk.
