review 1: Repetitive at times and seemingly biased toward the injustice of international ignorance, Sekulow's argument had me fascinated and curious at times - in particular the bite sized lessons into middle eastern conflict (a subject that I always seem to overlook).Unfortunately, when he's not painting a well written picture of a jihadist atrocity or simplifying the complex nature of Islamic civilization, Sekulow repeats himself when explaining who the war criminals are - again, and again, and again. The man has a career in this subject, I get that, and I may have never otherwise had the opportunity to hear his courtroom efforts to convince a jury of readers had I not picked up this book. So, in the end, I'll take it for what it is - an attempt to speak out to the public on a so... moreap box made of contemporary news.
review 2: This is a must-read for sure. It contains a good overview of Islam and how ISIS, the Sunnis, the Shiites, etc. all came to be in the state they are today. It's also half about the situation in Gaza. In short, I don't agree with everything in this book. It's written from the view of the political right and some of it I think is just pure propaganda against liberals. Nevertheless, it makes some pretty good points along the way and has left me questioning my position on some issues. It's full of important history and currents events that anyone who fancies themselves as informed should be aware of. less

This book was more about Israel and Hamas than it was about ISIS. It was a disappointing read.
