During the investigation Dallas finds that the victim is a real jerk who is blackmailing multiple people, sleeping with his clients and lying to everyone but Dallas must stand for the deceased even if he is a jerk. Was he killed by a woman he slept with,her husband or someone he blackmailed? Leave it to Dallas to find the truth.
review 2: Another installment in our favorite mind-candy series. I must confess, this one left me a little flat. The author has really amped up the action in this series of late with nearly every book concerning a serial killer and the lives of Eve and/or one of her nearest and dearest put in danger. ... moreThis story, on the other hand, has only one victim until very late in the book and life seems charmed for the Dallas/Rourke/NYPSD contingent. Something tells me that either someone close to Eve is about to die or have their storyline moved along in a significant way. Or that "J.D. Robb" (Nora Roberts) is losing interest in this series. We shall see... less
