review 1: Ugh. There's too much missing for this to stand on its own. At first its missing parts of trinity war, and then I guess its missing some trinity of sin? The worst part is that the editors have completely checked out, and they don't really tell you what you need to read to compete the story.I'm pretty sure that Trinity War and Forever Evil will be great storylines, but they really jack up these trades sometimes.
review 2: Actual rating: 3.25 stars.I love the Justice League Dark. And guess what? I just want to read the Justice League Dark. I am sick of major crossover events. Is it so wrong to want to read one title? Luckily I had read Constantine volume 2 just before this, so I was able to pick up some of what this volume lacked. I'm good at reading between the ... morelines anyways, but ugh, I don't think I should have to do that all the time. I love epic stories as much as the next person, but the huge events get tiring after a while, especially since I don't want to read every single DC title they release, no matter what DC seems to think. /end rantHoping the next book is better. less
