review 1: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.This was a well-written, fast-paced, short story. Brett and Jace meet up for a one night stand. Brett wants to get back into the dating scene and Jace is getting over a betrayal by the man he loved. This book was short, sweet, and to the point. There isn’t much more than sex in this book. It’s great if reading about m/m sex is your thing. I would have liked a little more storyline. I didn’t really understand why Brett and Jace didn’t want to give their relationship more than one night. They both wanted more, but still went their separate ways. I was happy with the ending. review 2: As a fan of the 1Night Stand series, I was not... more disappointed in most of this story. The characters are likeable, the sex is hot and the story flows. Jace was cheated on by his partner, someone he loved. He is finally trying to move on from this and so has enlisted Madam Eve. His blind date is Brett, ranch owner and nice guy. It is just unlucky that on their blind date, Jace’s ex happens to be in the restaurant. The two have a smokin’ encounter and they make a connection. When the night is over, however, so are they. The story is short, but I had two issues with it. One thing was, why was it brought up that Jace’s ex was in the restaurant when that really went nowhere? And the way it ended, I would have like more of a connection between the two and not circumstance prompting what happened. less
