review 1: This is another instance where half stars would come in handy. Since I can't give 3.5 stars, I'm rounding up to 4. I really did enjoy this book. It started slow and I had a hard time grasping that Caroline Bingley had a sweet mother in the north. Once I got over that, I got into the book and characters. I especially enjoyed the truce Elizabeth and Caroline reached. I even felt that they may actually become friends. If you love P&P, you will enjoy Caroline Bingley.
review 2: Do we really know the real Caroline Bingley? Well this story gives us insight to Miss Bingley and the understanding of what makes her so hautie to the Bennets. Ms Becton truely does a great service to dipicting her character. What makes her tic and though we all love to hate Miss Bin
... moregley she is very much understood. A lot of books make her character out to be extremely evil and mad! This story I feel is more a true rendering of the Character Jane Austen created. She is not sugar coated nor is she evil. I loved this story and recommend it to all those true Jane Austen fans. Definitely a must read!!! less
