review 1: Few things irritate me more than a dumb main character who doesn't seem to get the most obvious and that's what bothered me about the second installment in this series. Kiss of Frost shows Gwen not seeing the most obvious of ploys and it bugged me, because she was so savvy and smart in the first book in the series. I did like her development as a warrior (more ass kicking please!) and how she understands more and more about het gift. But all in all this book moved slow and the plot was a bit too obvious for my taste. I hope the third book will be as good as the first one, which I liked.
review 2: Kiss of Frost is the second book in the series Mythos Academy By Jennifer Estep. After reading the first book upon t,recommendation of my paranormal book club, the ser
... moreies had me hooked! The stories are around Gwen Frost who is a relatively new student at Mythos where everyone seems to have great warrior strength & powers, as to where she is just a "gypsy girl". In this book we get more of the background into why Gwen is there, what really happened to her mother and what her mission is as a Champion elected by the goddess of victory- Nike. less

Biggest complaint - very predictable. Other than that, entertaining enough.

Even though you can tell how the story will end, I still enjoyed this book.
