review 1: It's hard to write a gripping and suck-you-in romance after the first meet, when the characters already have an established relationship and we miss those first tumble-into-love moments, but Haymore managed that feat very nicely. Nice amount of tension as to what caused the strife, even though it wasn't hard to guess, whaich is also hard to do. Overall really enjoyed the story and characters and would rec.

While it's an introductory novella it tells a beautiful story of a newly married couple who face the l... moreoss of a child, family interference and the struggles of being a military family.The Highland Knights Series will focus on seven men, straight from Waterloo and all Highlanders, five of them with connections to the aristocracy. They have been selected to be the core unit of the newly formed agency working for the Home Office. The war on the continent is dwindling down, Napoleon has been contained and now it's time to focus on what's going on at home. And there are troubles. Dissidents in the North both aristocratic and commoner are trying to tear the country apart. And it's going to be the job of these seven men to stem the tide, uproot the evil and bring down the traitors. Sounds exciting, doesn't it.But for now...we learn the story of Claire and Rob.Lady Claire Cambell fell for Rob Campbell the minute she saw him. Can you blame her? A military man, in a kilt? I'd be pushing people out of my way. But Claire fell hard and managed a fairytale life with him, at first...
