review 1: Olivia's debut into London society has been tainted by a nastily given proposition. To make matters even worse it was given by a very bitter and nasty little man that feel he is entitled to do such things. Max becomes a pawn in this man's sick game of can I have her.During the course of this all we learn a lot more about the other Donovan sisters and their views on things. One Donovan sister get little more tangled into things than she would have liked too.
review 2: My favorite parts of the book were of the growing love between Max and Olivia. I wish that the Fenwicke storyline hadn't taken up so much of the book. Everytime he was on the page, I longed to get back to the beautiful proe, the soft, lovely courtship of Olivia & Max. It's not that the kinappy-s... moreuspense wasn't well written and interesting, because it was. It's just that Haymore's talent & voice shines through so beautifully when she's concentrating on the love story.I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment. less
