review 1: The author is a good writer. The plot development is extremely good and the pace of the book is exactly what I look for in a novel. However, I hated almost every moment of this book. It is thouroughly implausible all of the way to the very last sentence. I often listen to an author that is new to me before I read them. I honestly don't htink that I can bother with this author again.I'm giving this two stars because it is well written. I would give it one simply because I found the content to be over the top and more than I could absorb and appreciate.
review 2: This book hooked me from page 1 - interesting plot, interesting characters, unique situation. The conflict of identities built and built and build so well throughout the whole book only to lead up to w... morehat I felt was a lackluster and unresolved! I really wanted to see Serena be able to be HER, not just in secret with Jonathan, but with EVERYONE. It disappointed me to see that storyline not resolve in some manner (whether it be good or bad).Will definitely be checking out the other books in this series. (Especially Langley's!!!) less
