Marriage to a Billionaire
review 1: When I picked this book up and read "an old Italian tradition forces them to be married", I thought "This is so terrible it is hilarious. This will be fun to read and laugh at." Unfortunately it is just terrible and not even slightly funny. It starts off with a character casting a love spell. I'm not kidding. The writing is poor at best and the plot is non-existent even for a romance novel. I knew that there would be no plot, but if the characters are good, and the dialogue enjoyable it doesn't matter. Both main characters are annoying and the main male character is an epic douchebag. Seriously, is it too much to ask that the male character in romance novels has respect for women? That he view her as a partner rather than an object? He was intolerable because of his misogy... morenistic views.
review 2: 3.5I really did enjoy this book. Another great fun story in the series by Jennifer Probst.Carina mooned over Maximus Grey for most of her life, but he was the high flying business man and her brothers best friend, what could she do? When Maggie her brothers wife gives her a book of love spells Carina decides to give it a chance and then reinvents herself to make the billionaire notice the woman she has become.Great easy read. One more to go :-) less

When an MC is described as having "a sexy goatee" it's time for me to immediately jump ship.
