Marriage to a Billionaire
review 1: the guy on the cover though. UGH! anyway, it's a rom novel but it lacks something. I love the chemistry and all but I want something from Sawyer that the writer/author didn't deliver his story very effectively. There are scenes that lacks details and is not really clear whether or not Sawyer really conquer his inner demons. And the ending, My.. so very unsatisfying. Very hot beginning and I'm hook between those two but as the story progress it didn't give justice from their characterization.

... mores such I am unable to make a comparison. After reading this title I am compelled to read the rest of the books in the series. This title is set in Italy, which I believed helped to enhance the story and the romance between the characters.Sawyer Wells, the lead male character, did not have a great childhood. He had suffered both physical and emotional abuse while growing up. He had experienced loss at an early age. Sawyer rose above his circumstances and became a billionaire, however he was afraid of getting close to anyone as he felt he was not worthy of love.Julietta Conte the female lead, came from a loving family. She was an accomplished no nonsense business woman. She was not looking to be involved with anyone romantically based on her past experiences with the opposite sex. In the business world she was the poster child for self confidence, but when it came to her love life she was a walking advertisement for insecurity. There were times throughout the story when I found my self thinking that she needed someone to knock some sense into her. Sawyer was exactly what she needed.Sawyer and Julietta came in contact due to a business arrangement w which involved a merger between the Conte’s family bakery and Purity hotels. When these two met, the attraction between them was instantaneous and combustible. It was good to see these characters grow and were able to move past their insecurities. The plot was quite believable but it was not unique. This is a story of love, loss and blackmail. It was easy to feel and relate to the characters’ emotional struggles. The romance was realistic. The sex scenes were definitely hot. There was some amount of BDSM involved which was handled quite tastefully. This was an easy read which had my attention from the very first stage. This story shows how powerful love can be and that if we are willing to let go of the bad things in our past our hearts will be receptive to the healing power of love. This is my first taste of Jennifer Probst work and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I would definitely this book to lovers of contemporary, erotica romance. less
