review 1: Ok to start I am surprised by how much I liked this book. I am doing a creature challenge and I needed some zombie books. I didn't think I would like it, I am not a fan of gore. But the way this is written with humor and a bit over the top with awesomeness. Yes, there is some head smashing with brain matter but really it wasn't overkill. So a couple goes to therapy and is shocked to find the therapist eating her patients, soon they figure out that therapy isn't what they needed. Zombie apocalypse is just the right thing to get them to stop fighting and work together as a team. I was laughing at parts and all around a real joy to listen to. Just purchased the next book in the series.
review 2: I wasn't impressed. it was ok, but how many stupid mistakes... more had to be made to make the story?? I mean come on, NEVER take the expressway during a zombie infestation, NEVER split up to cover more looting ground but then take your time looting, ALWAYS leave someone outside a building to cover, and ALWAYS check a person for bites after he/she has been outside killing zombies. Like I said, ok...but never again. less
