review 1: Jessica Dotta did it once again. I had this book read within 24 hours because I was physically (and mentally) unable to put it down. Who needs sleep anyway? (Even when I did sleep, I dreamed about this book. Not kidding). This is such a riveting, on-the-edge-of-your-seat series and I have recommended it to all of my friends (and the friends who have read it have raved about it as well). The characters are well developed and the storyline is always taking the reader by surprise. I just can't say enough about this trilogy. Excellent. Very well done. Now, we (im)patiently wait for January for the final installment. :)
review 2: I'm really enjoying the story but the protagonist is so utterly frustrating. I keep waiting for her to get the spine and say something or
... moredo something instead of just holding her peace and staying quiet all the time… Boring. The end of this book wrapped up so quickly I wasn't even sure what exactly had happened, although I love the bow tied around the gift of an ending I still was a little confused how it all wrapped up so fast after everything else a taken so long to develop. Had the protagonist ever been honest with the people she loved instead of trying to "save them" with her stupidity and keeping quiet about everything I may have given this book four stars. less
