Genre: Children’s literature
Medium: Hardcover
Synopsis: A bear appears outside Michael, Karl, and Addy’s house. As it would turn out, he has a couple tales to tell.
Review: This book is so sweet and peaceful–it’s perfect for a foggy morning and a cozy blanket and a nice hot cup of coffee (or cocoa). Muth’s illustrations and writing are equally calm, which makes sense given the nature of the bear’s tales. This book made me feel more empathetic and at peace with so many things that I’d have to say that the bear–and Muth–did their jobs pretty dang well.
