review 1: The last book (#4) in a series about Ella and Micha's love story, who have gone through many ups and downs. The author, Jessica Sorenson does a nice job in filling you in on the three previous novels so that you can read this story independently. A love story that I know exactly the girls at the high school that I can recommend this novel and entire series to. What I didn't love was Ella's whiny and weak personality. This book was a Goodreads giveaway.
review 2: Trade PB/Romance: The good points: Nice cover, but it's really not about Christmas. HEA, but I wouldn't give this couple two years, probably less. I got this book in a giveaway for a honest review. I did not read the previous books. This book is an easy read and I did it in one afternoon, but ... morethe characters are so childish. Dear Micha:Get out! Get out of this relationship while Ella has cold feet. Run! She whinny and off her meds. She has a history of mental illness in her family and she is obviously bi-polar like her mom. Her dad is an alcoholic and Ella can't hold her liquor. She's what, 20, 21? She has cold feet for a reason; she's too young and immature. Ella hasn't even finished college. What about you? You're too immature too. You see Ella as a prize to win. You'll be cheating on her in no time when you're tired of the trophy. Taking her on the road? Really? SHE'S BI-POLAR, FOOL. Yes, the two of you are having a great time now because she's in an extended honeymoon manic phase. What about when the tour is over? She'll be home and mania's parallel universe will make its appearance. Especially when she realizes she quit school for you. Listen to me know and hear me later; get marriage counseling because Ella has trust issues. Dear Ella:Get out! Your cold feet are telling you something. See those red lights? Those are emergency lights telling you danger. You are nothing but a prize to Micha. Once he has you where he wants, he will look for the next prize and you'll be at the doctor's office get tested for a STD. That's if he cheats first. You're bi-polar and will probably cheat during a manic phase because you like to drink. Why are you off your meds? You left school for this jerk? You two are annoying and I'm sure you'll be featured on Cops having a domestic. Do not have children with this man. less
