review 1: I love reading chick lit from the UK. They use all types of slang, like "blimey" and "bloody hell," and have very fast paced, witty dialogue. This was just what you want to read when you have a chick lit craving. About a Londoner who moves to a small England Town, and a certain lady killer who is interested in her. However, she has a hard time believing his sincerity due to his reputation. Great fun.
review 2: Enjoyed the book very much. Upon reading this it makes me think that this is the type of book that I would like to write myself. Finding a main story line, adding more characters, filling their story lines in. And that would make a book. This book had many English terms & references in which I got some of them and the others were over my head. I am a... moren Anglophile so that made the enjoyment more fun. I will have to hunt down some more of this author's titles. less
