review 1: 1.5It was all very predictable. Even the thing with Shaun or whatever his name was, I guessed it as soon as he was introduced and I was right!There is one thing I have come to loathe in a romance book, and it is this. The heroine won't go for the hero even though she loves him because he has a past as a manwhore. Now I understand why that would give someone pause but geez, I just feel like the heroine, Molly in this case, needs to take some risks too.Dexter asked her out and she laughed at him. No no, I will just be another notch on his post, he's such a whore, he can't be serious, he doesn't know what love is bla bla bla. So then he meets another and it seems to be getting serious. At this point Molly get all jealous and omg, he CAN be serious, who would have thought???I ... morejust found it incredibly annoying how she wouldn't take a chance on him but after someone else has proved his worth, then she feels comfortable swooping in and be with him.Swooping is bad.And that dad, can't remember his name, I just wanted to see him punished more harshly than he was. He got away with it far too easily in my opinion. I wanted him crushed.It had it's funny moments though and it wasn't a horrible read. It's a good book if you just want something quick to read and easy to read.
review 2: Weer een heerlijk boek van Jill Mansell. Ondanks de voorspelbaarheid blijft het gewoon lekker lezen.Had het wel te doen met Dex. In zijn eentje de zorg over zo'n kleintje (wat echt zwaar is) en dan ook nog afgewezen worden door Molly. De eerste vrouw waar hij echte gevoelens voor heeft sinds hij zijn vrouwenverslinderleventje heeft afgezworen. Elke verhaallijn was leuk om te lezen.Zeker 4 sterren waard! less
