review 1: i was a bit skeptical when it came to this series, but i trusted the opinions of my guys who work at my local comic store, it started off slow and gradually got better and better, the story is enticing and I've blasted through the first 3 volumes within 2 days… even though i tried to space them out i couldn't put these books down, i thoroughly recommend it for anyone who enjoys stories that are a little out there with twists and turns.
review 2: This is a mystery, plain and simple.Young woman in a coma whose spirit we can "see" looks down upon herself and tries to solve the mystery of WHY she's in a coma. Except she has very few memories of her life, who her friends are, etc.She has a spirit guide Bobby, in the limbo place, who may be unreliable. She can see
... moreother spirits who are also in comas but most avoid her. (Why not this "Bobby"?) She also finds she can temporarily possess the bodies of those who are about to die. We don't know how she got in a coma, either. We're as much in the dark as she is. But someone seems to want Ellis incapacitated, at the very least, or even dead. The art is fairly good and works with the writing well. However, there ARE gaps that aren't plot needed.Comics don't need to be fast moving for me to enjoy them, but this one seems VERY slow in plot development. less

I can't say I really have a clue what's going on, but I'm definitely intrigued.

Despite some clunky dialogue, this is just too beautiful not to enjoy.
