review 1: I enjoyed this book, but the first volume didn't blow me away. There are a lot of plot threads being weaved together here involving the comatose Elle and her friend, her boyfriend, her family, etc. The characters are brought together in interesting ways, and McCann expertly ends each issue with a cliffhanger. The book kept me reading through the end and kept my interest enough. However, I wanted more from the story itself and hope the second volume might offer more answers than questions.
