review 1: If you ever wanted to go in the food truck business, read a new mystery series by J.J. Cook aka Joyce and Jim Lavene. The story has a plot that will hold you in suspense until the very end. Become a friend of Zoe Chase as she starts up her new business keep her lawyer mother at bay break up with her too timing boyfriend be accused of murder fall for her lawyer feed and become friends with the people of the homeless shelter and helps feed them and get one of her friends out of a jam , all in a days work for Zoe. I gave this book 5 stars.
review 2: This is a really good introduction to a new series. Zoe has left her job at the bank to open a restaurant. She is running a food truck while saving money to bring her restaurant up to code. Her mother is livid. Her boy... morefriend thinks she has gone off the rails. Then suddenly another food truck vendor is found dead in her food truck. It seems that a rare Thomas Jefferson recipe has been stolen and people are being killed to get it. The criminals all think that Zoe knows more about it than she does. less
