review 1: Another kindle freebie, I was quite looking forward to reading this one as I'm very interested in the Tudor period and this sounded like a fun take on the subject. It's meant to be a spoof - I get that, unfortunately my idea of humour and the authors are obviously very different and I found it silly rather than funny, and - in places - irritating. The constant puns and pointless rhyming got annoying pretty quickly. Nice idea but could have been done better. Not for me.

... morecter did, but I can overlook that as a character flaw...By the time I had enough, I was too far in to give up.I have a habit of reading before bed and if I wake up super early before I get out of bed & that was a bad idea with this book. I fell asleep countless times trying to get through this book. It's not exactly a page-turner.I did like the twist on Henry VIII's 6 wives as told through their own words, I just wish it had be executed a little better. less

Completely idiotic. The rhyming started off as a little entertaining, but quickly became annoying.
