review 1: I love shifter romances no matter how ridiculous the premise is; but when the shifters are different species, as is the case in Cat Scratch Fever (lynx and wolf), I find myself more concerned with what their babies are going to shift into then the actual story. Also this book is set in Michigan, I am from Michigan so I found myself asking why on earth would a lynx shifter be living in the suburbs of Detroit. However this was a very enjoyable PNR story, at 138 pages it was also a quick read. So if you are looking for a sexy cross species shifter romance that gets right to the point I recommend this book.
review 2: Cat Scratch Fever is Jodi Redford's newest paranormal romance, and it is a treat. It is raging with hot-blooded shifter fervor. The world she has crea... moreted is fun and enticing. I like this locale, with the snow and forest and wide-open spaces filled with lots of redneck werewolves and lynx cat shifters. The characters are well crafted and the dialog is fun and sarcastic. I love the verbal sparring between Lilly and Dante, and the ever-escalating attraction bringing them closer all the time. And Chevy, Dante's dog, is a real character too. It's a mighty good time when arch nemesis' come together for some rip-roaring fun. Sparks fly when Lilly and Dante are together. I could not get enough of this funny and passionate couple. Dante's siblings are hysterical I love how they rib Dante. I will never again be able to look at a cat toy without laughing. Cat Scratch Fever is a swift and scorching novel. less
