Meet our readers: Archy Jamjun and Ben Tanzer

This Saturday is our FINAL appearance at the 2017 Fillet of Solo festival in Rogers Park, where we’ll be performing in a real life black box theater one last time before heading home to Great Lakes Tattoo. It’s been a great run, and we hope you’ll make the trek to the Heartland Studio one last time.

Angela will be back from her travels to Washington, D.C., J.H. will be here, and we’ve got two terrific guest readers who you won’t want to miss:

Archy Jamjun: Archy is a storyteller and writer from Chicago.  He has participated in many shows around the city including The Stoop, This Much is True, and OUTspoken!  He won The 25th Annual Chicago’s Biggest Liar Contest, and in 2015 he won The Moth Grandslam.  He is also an MFA student at Roosevelt University and a server at The Gage.

Ben Tanzer: Ben is the author of the forthcoming book Be Cool – a memoir (sort of), among others. He also oversees the lifestyle empire This Blog Will Change Your Life (changeyourlifethiswill.com) and frequently speaks on the topics of messaging, framing, social media, blogging, fiction, essay writing and independent publishing. He can be found online at tanzerben.com.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here, Heartland Studio is located at 7016 N. Glenwood, right by the  Morse red line stop, just a couple doors north of the Heartland Cafe. Help us end our run at Fillet of Solo in style, come see us!
