review 1: I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley. A Place Called Harmony is a great place to continue or to begin the Harmony series. Readers get an inside look at the beginnings of Harmony, how its heart and haven got started for the readers beloved characters. It's great getting to see how it all began because when you get into a series you're typically introduced after the area in question has already been built or has been in existence for quite awhile, in A Place Called Harmony we get to see the foundation and the creation. Its wonderful heart felt stories and characters are wonderful. I love Jodi's characters and her sense of the small town. If only places like Harmony truly existed. *Sigh*
review 2: Another Winner! This newest shows
... morethe history of Harmony, Texas--who settled it and why. Three men find the lure of free land too much to resist. The only thing is they have to have a wife. Clint Truman finds one at the women's prison among those being released. She's had a hard life. Patrick McAllen asks a woman who lives near his family's farm. Gillian Matheson is a soldier who has been married for a while except he's never lived with her. There is danger and suspense along with new found love. All three stories touch my heart. It's easy to see the different traits that carry over to future generations. And how Jeremiah Truman got all his apple trees. I loved this book. I don't think you'll be disappointed. less

The entire Harmony series is an excellent read. I read them in order but you really don't have too.
