Perry & Gobi
review 1: I had just recently read this book and overal, i loved it! The tempo of the book was fast enough to keep my attention through the whole book. The book is about a boy named perry who lives with his parents and sister. Mom and dad both decided to get a foreign exchange student because one of Perry's parents had one when they were his age. And this is where Gobi was introduced, Gobi was originally from Lithuania and she attended Perry's school. There was something special about Gobi, she rarely spoke, she would always have video calls all night and she always carried around her Blackberry. Prom was coming up so as a last farewell Gobi wanted to go to prom with Perry but, the night didn't go as planed. Gobi wanted to go to this nightclub she saw in a magazine called the 40/40... more. Gobi got in no problem and got Perry in. Gobi went to the bathroom with her Lithuanian apparel and came out in a more Manhattan like clothing. Gobi told Perry to get the car and pull up in the front but not in front of the front window, she was taking a long time so perry pulled in front of the front window and as he did a dead body was launched on top of Perry's dad car. Gobi was quick to enter the car and made Perry drive away, Perry refused to go so Gobi pointed a gun at him and he immediately started driving. When they were a safe distance away they heard a boom coming from the 40/40 club, turns out the 40/40 club has just exploded. Gobi keeps checking her blackberry and proceeds to make Perry drive to places unknown. Gobi confesses that she put explosives in Perry's basement , perry took Gobi's blackberry and called his parents and told them to stay clear of the house. Perry broke the blackberry which a bad decision, The number she had to call to deactivate the explosives was on that phone. Gobi remembered the last place she had to go perry had to choose his life or his family's life, of course Perry choose his family's life because what kind of book would that be if he didn't. Anyways Petty entered the building and conversed with a man while Perry and Gobi were tied up. They got information about the last woman they needed to kill so Gobi took Perry's wallet so she can get into Perry's dads work. Perry got to his fathers work quickly and his father showed up. The lady approached Perry and his father and took his father into her office, he was dead. Gobi shot perry right above the knee and Gobi was attacked by the girl the girl ended up dying but gobi was badly hurt from the man and the girl. Perry had to use the little strength he had left to carry gobi and jump out the window, they landed in a helicopter and flew to Perry's house which was on fire perry exited the plane and gobi stayed on the plane. One day perry was waking through Manhattan and saw a girl that looked like gobi. They had a short conversation and walked away.
review 2: Au Revoir Crazy European Chick is an exceptional humor and thriller novel, portrayed in a similar fashion as James Bond. The humor is expressed due Perry having an internal conflict of liking or hating Gobi; As the "James Bond" is shown by Gobi assaulting targets as the way a professional assassin would. The main plot of the novel is how Gobi is wishing to avenge her sisters' being captured and trafficked to America and then, eventually killed. Perry, on the other hand is being taken along for the ride with Gobi as she can't drive. I rated this book 5 out of 5 due to its thrilling action and comical referencing throughout the novel. The colorful and plentiful descriptions only added to the masterpiece of perfection. Overall, I would recommend this book to people whom love action-adventure novels, and humorous books. less

Fun (but very violent) ride! Reminds me of Adventures in Babysitting + Alias.
