review 1: 1. The book was written for teenage boys and girls.2. This book deserves 4 stars because it was a fun book to read.3. Evaluation: I thought that this book would be about the main character killing people but it was the opposite. I also feel that is book went into great detail with dialogue because every page had like a half of page of quotations. My thought about Gobi is that she is a determined girl that can be crazy at any given time. One thing I can relate to in this book was when Perry's first concert was over and he knew that his ex girl friend lived near by, he found her. When I came back from Michigan, I found my friends right away just like Perry did. One thing I can't relate to is when Perry's family was all kidnapped. That has never happen to me.4. The Big Idea: ... moreThe big idea in this book to me is when love is on the line, evaluate your decisions of what you are going to do before you do it.
review 2: Perry has finally (sort of) recovered from his encounter with Gobi, the assassin in Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick. He has a new (maybe) girlfriend, an older woman with connections in the music industry. Maybe she is the “one” and he will finally lose his virginity. When they set off on a European tour with his band, Inchworm, though things go terribly wrong! This is an action packed book in the vein of the Jason Bourne stories for younger readers. There are guns, bombs, kidnappings, and chase scenes galore. And, of course, a bit of romance. Add in some snappy dialogue and likeable characters (yes, even the assassins) and you have a quick read that everyone should enjoy. For older students because of the violence, profanity, and some mild sexual references, but nothing over the top. A good read for young adults. The title comes from the chapter titles -- every chapter is a song title that actually reflects the action in the book. Cool! less
