review 1: Bello. Ma quasi anche di più. Gli manca tanto così.Non per il finale, che ci sta tutto e sfiora la perfezione, né per i personaggi, che sono raccontati con maestria.Qualcosa nella narrazione non funziona al punto da fargli meritare 5 stelle.Rimane uno splendido horror di atmosfera con dei personaggi che sono persone reali che si comportano come persone reali in circostanze a dir poco insolite.Uno dei rari horror che merita una rilettura.
review 2: The harrowing story of a man who tries to survive after the loss of his daughter. She disappeared two years ago, in mysterious circumstances, on a small Swedish island. As he returns to that place, we discover that the sea has a supernatural influence on the locals.It's very well done and I enjoyed the vignettes de... morescribing life (both present and past) of a little community.Unfortunately, like some readers, I found that the end – where explanations were very much needed – was pretty weak and disappointing. For answers as to what really happened, there were none. Still, it was an interesting read, and I'll never think of the sea or wormwood the same way, now that I've read 'Harbor'. less
