review 1: Very enjoyable book overall, the book basically contains a large collection of short stories about zombies. The only reason the book got 4 stars instead of 5 is that not all of the stories directly involve zombies, some are not even in the same ballpark as a zombie story, just the word 'zombie' crops up at some point so they decided to include it...I think they just found there aren't enough short stories about zombies
review 2: I initially bought this bought thinking that I was going to be in for numerous stories about the George Romero idea of what a zombie is, and sure there are a fair share of stories that do tell of that zombie world. I was delighted to have encountered different narratives of what the living dead are. This anthology has its highs; "Meatho... moreuse Man," "Almost the Last Story by Almost the Last Man," and "This Year's Class Picture," are among them. The lowest point of collection was with "Less Than a Zombie." Overall I was quite pleased with the collection. less
