review 1: I've got to stop reading this little series late at night. Nope, it's not even a tiny bit scary, but I fall asleep, and I don't want to miss the fun. The characters in this book remind me of Revenge of the Nerds, except with a genius fat vampire, his skinny side-kick best friend, his hot for sex girlfriend, and his little friend, Claire, who really doesn't fit neatly into any category. I may start the next book in this series tonight. Should be great fun.
review 2: Not as good as Fat Vampire... but still entertaining and a good diversion as a fast read during the holiday time off... I'll look forward to the series - which I am assuming it is becoming! Johnny B. Truant is writing a book a month... while it might be better with more time (editing) and care... more, I've read a lot of 'professionally' published books that were not nearly as well done. For this type of 'entertainment' book, I think this was well done and am happy to have them rolling off the 'presses' so rapidly. less
