review 1: 4.5 stars. I can't give it 5 cuz it was so short, but it was a great short read that has me dying to know what's going to happen next. The MCs both seem a little accident prone. Kassie always tripping over her cat and falling outside Starbucks every day, and Nikolas who isn't supposed to be seen by anyone but can't get his transmutation power right, so Kassie can see him. Should be interesting to see how these two fair against Hell's PTB.
review 2: So, I got a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. ... moreelief. The heroine is likeable, a little bit zany and a whole lot addicted to caffeine. My only downside? I want more, this being a novelette sets up a great premise for a series and with a good introduction to a solid heroine is sure to please readers looking for a break from the usual paranormal story tropes. less
