review 1: I am actually reading The Sarah Roberts Series Vol. 1-3, but I've chosen to do the reviews one book at a time. Dark Visions is one of the best suspense novels I've read, and it reminds me a bit of Dean Koontz's novel, Intensity. Because of this, I would highly recommend this novel to fans of Dean Koontz, of which I am one. This is the story of an 18-year old girl, Sarah Roberts, who uses her gift of automatic writing to help others. In the process of attempting to prevent a girl from being kidnapped, Sarah herself becomes the victim of the kidnapping. While held by her captor, Sarah begins to discover secrets that her parents have kept from her. This is a fantastic psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
review 2: I loved this book!!
... more I got it as a free amazon book and was intrigued by the description. I love Sarah, the lead character. She's awkward and doesn't quite know who she is. She acts younger than her 18 years at times and other times far older. The book drew me in immediately and I couldn't read it fast enough! The only thing I hate is that now I want to read the rest of the series but they all cost money. Haha less

I really liked this book. The cliff-hanger made me continue on to book 2.

Didn't get far with this. Young adult, paranormal is not my style.
