review 1: I really, really enjoyed this book! I couldn't put it down. Sarah is chasing after Armond, who she's discovered killed her sister Vivian. Parkman shows up and helps to save the day, which I love! He's the one person Sarah trusts and I love the development of their friendship. There are gun fights, spooky crypts, and danger at nearly every turn. Also, everyone saying these books are unrealistic and she'd never be able to pull off some of this stuff in real life...really?? The premise of the books is an 18 year old girl who receives messages from her dead sister and saves people's lives. What part of any of that sounded realistic?! I love these books because they take me somewhere else, where bad guys lose, good always triumphs, and not everything is realistic. That's the be... moreauty of books and reading in general!
review 2: This is a book I had a hard time to put down... One of the best thrillers I have read, really.Other reviewers have written what the story is all about, so I won't go into that myself. All I wish to say is that this story is very well written. It begins with action and never slows down!I love the main character (Sarah Roberts) and the way she handles things. Her psychic links with her dead sister brings a special twist to the way the story unfolds and I really enjoyed this.Jonas Saul has just found himself a new fan! less
