review 1: A quirky alternate history starting with WWII and leading in a variety of odd directions. I can't say I fell in love with this, but I can't fault it; it just wasn't entirely to my taste. It might grow on me if I find time to read further volumes and/or delve into more of the history behind it -- a deeper knowledge of the actual Manhattan Project scientists would probably yield a greater appreciation of the whole concept.
review 2: An interesting and different kind of story.A different take on the Manhattan Project (the producing of atomic bombs during WWII).A very sci-fi, crazy take on the story.I like the art, it suits the story well. ... more decisions in the present. It's a type of story that isn't for everyone, I had to get used to it, it really is a quirky story.I'm interested as to where the story will go in the following volumes.Because there is a lot going on, you haven't really got a clue where the story is going. So if you're looking for some sci-fi, mad scientists, crazy experiments/inventions kind of story that is over the top but grounded in real facts/events, this one's for you. less

I really hated this. It was a struggle to finish. I didn't like anything about it.
