review 1: Not the best book I've ever read ( I'm not even sure I'd call it a good book, honestly...there's seemed more sex than plot, IMO), and overall it was pretty predictable, but there's something addicting about JS's writing style, so even with the terrible editing, I'd still give this, between 2.5 and 3 stars. And just as an FYI:, I'm in the middle of two other JS titles, and it seems that they're all written with the same formula IMO... So me thinks you really only need to read one, to see if this author is for you...but I strongly suggest you read an excerpt if you can before buying JS titles, as they are definitely not for everyone!
review 2: The first attempt that I have read by Jordan that's somewhat historical. It was good. I liked the fact that we didn't hav... moree the deal with the betrayal etc but moreso the event afterwards which I found more enjoyable. It was simple short and sweet. I would have enjoyed it more if it was drawn out, but that said it wasn't 24 pages more like over 100 so there was enough I could savor the book.Love me some Jordan Silver and really enjoying her later works, in my opinion she is maturing her writing style. So theres gonna be old school fans who will hate it, new fans that will love it. And semi new fans like me who is willing to grow with her. less
