A Culinary Mystery
review 1: Pretty good book. The book was a little slow around the middle but I figured out the murderer half way thorough. I still like her books though and I plan on reading more of her books. Still clean, and reminds me of Agatha Christie books in a way. I bet Kilpack was influenced by her books. The story starts out with a visit to London with her daughter and her daughters boyfriend. They take in the sights and sounds and just as they are about to leave, a murder takes place. They see the body.. But then it has vanished! Sadie tries to find answers and solve the mystery all the while trying to cook in the big kitchen.
review 2: Another saga of Sadie the wannabe gumshoe. I didn't find this book quite as fast paced as the 1st book and found myself putting it down a few
... more times. I found myself not really caring much about Liam as much as I was supposed to. I can't quite tell if I like Sadie, at times she's quite funny and other times she comes off as a bit annoying. It's not quite enough to put me off, and I'm waiting to read the next book in the series. less

Seemed kind of long and drawn out. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first book in the series
