review 1: I have been reading Lemon Tart, I like this book so far it is really interesting to see the different persrective from a fifty year old women it is really different! It is still really interesting even though it is not as a action book it still has a thrill. I like the the plot how she is trying to solve the crime on who killed her neighbor, and she is going up against another detective. It is really cool to see how she veiws other people and what she thinks of them and says. I would reccomend this book to who ever likes action and racing against the clock, if they like pressure in books then they would like it. I think most women would like this book that are adults. This book is unique becuase it talks about cooking and has alot to do with what she is passonate abo... moreut. And talks about all the details of cooking its really cool if you enjoy cooking or reading about it. Some of the things I did not like about this book is that their is not alot of action that I like so if you dont like as stress full books then I would read this one. So far there is not alot of romance but that could change very soon. This book is not on my top five but is still a good read if you are looking for somthing to read. I think it just depends on the person if you would love it. That is what I think of Lemon Tart.
review 2: Overall I really enjoyed this book! I must admit that it was hard to get into for the first little bit, but once you do, it really grabs your attention! Lemon Tart is a murder mystery about an older lady named Sadie who is living a simple but pleasurable life. She is living alone now that she is without a husband, but Sadie has a boyfriend whom she is quite serious with. Sadie lives in a nice cozy cul-de-sac where everything seems to be just right.Yet when disaster strikes in their seemingly perfect street, Sadie feels like it is up to her to fix it all. Someone was murdered and it was probably somebody in their circle who did it. When the person Sadie least of all suspected suddenly seems to be the only suspect for murder she feels like it is up to her to prove everyone wrong, but possibly prove them right. This book really grabbed my attention! I loved how the author portrayed the different characters, it helped you to create a connection with the story. I also like the sense of mystery. There certainly are some great surprises! You will not be let down by this book, it absolutely kept me engaged. less
