But his death has been ruled a suicide...As if this isn't puzzling enough, it soon becomes obvious that there are links to a long-ago kidnapping. The twists and turns of this complex plot will take readers on quite a thrill ride and Sam continues to be an interesting main character. Secondary characters are well-drawn also. Readers new to the series will be able to start here--enough background is provided--but they'd be well-advised to search out the first two books in the series since both A DEEPER DARKNESS and EDGE OF BLACK are solid thrillers.
review 2: I love t... morehe way that Sam is evolving. It has taken her leaving her comfort zone of Nashville and moving to begin to find herself again. It is nice to see her finding friends and possibly love again. I like that she is human and the things she has gone through are shaping her life--as they do with us all. Her job has been the one thing that she could count on and it is as much a part of her as her heart and brain is. Her professionalism has Timothy Savage seeking her help to solve his murder. And thereupon the ride begins. You will not be able to put this one down less
