Batwing Vol. I
review 1: Batwing Vol. 1 The Lost Kingdom by Judd Winick and Ben Oliver I did need some back story before reading this.  Thankfully I have someone to educate me in this subject.  I really liked this a lot of the characters were very hype.  I also liked how Batman made appearances throughout the volume.  Since it is the first volume it had a lot of flashbacks which is good, it gave a lot of information on his background.  Overall a really good and quick read.
review 2: I have always liked Judd Winick. It is exciting to see someone take a stab at making a Super hero in Africa. ... moreteam, a supervillain named Massacre is hunting them down, one by one. The book is as Brutal as that last sentence sounds. Just picture every movie that has basically had the message "Wow, things are really brutal and scary in Africa", like Hotel Rawanda or the Last King of Scotland, or Blood Diamond, and then place a Batman Composite right in the middle of it. I enjoyed it. less
