review 1: I don't crochet enough to warrant buying many pattern books, but this one is great. I picked up the Kindle version on a whim when it was on sale, and it was a great decision. There are enough patterns across a range of yarn weights and project types to justify even the regular price, and it's great for stash-busting. You know those odd balls you have left over from other projects, that you bought to try a particular yarn, or that you just couldn't leave the shop without? That's what you need this book for.
review 2: As someone who knows how to crochet, I LOVED this book. Most of the time when I pick up craft books, there are only a couple of projects that I actually want to make and the rest are cheesy and/or something I would never get use out of. But it see... morems like every time I turned the page, I was adding something to my to-make list! This may not be the best book for a complete beginner, but for someone who knows basic stitches, this is a great book full of great projects! less
