review 1: Een goed geschreven biografie van een bijzondere vrouw. Zeker zo goed als Koelemeijers eerdere boek. Deze Anna Boom heeft een bijzonder avontuurlijk leven geleid, waar ze steeds min of meer teovallig inrolt. Zonder te beseffen hoe gevaarlijk het allemaal is. Vooral de stukken over de 2de wereldoorlog zijn goed. Onvoorstelbaar nu, dat deze vrouw zo naief kon zijn over alles wat er werkelijk speelde in die tijd.
review 2: This was a wonderful book. Anna Boom really existed and this is the story of her life. She helped Raoul Wallenberg in Budapest during the war. She helped a lot of people. One of the things she said in the book was that there were people with an addressbook and people without and she was a person with an addressbook, she knew everyone that matter... moreed in that time. I am interested in WWII, so this was a great read for me. less
