I am not expecting myself to be hooked in this series. Heck, I haven’t even finished reading The Mortal Instruments, I still have two more books to read. But, this spin-off, it was indeed a damn huge deal.
I read Clockwork Angel and the book surprise myself because I didn’t expect I would enjoy it so much. Clockwork Prince didn’t even suffer from the second book syndrom. I enjoy and love it, as heartbreaking and crushing and devastated as it is, I love it as I shed tears for Will. That Will in the book took me more to attached to him, and him hurting really make me sad. AND, I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE SADDEST EVER HAPPENED.

[Before Clockwork Princess happened and you just more crumpling and heartbreaking even more. The story is so diverse, great characters portrayal, and even more as I love spin-off series, I like how some stories linked to TMI series. Clockwork Princess took you into a rollercoaster of emotion. Beautiful words swarming around, I like Clare’s writing in this series. And the plot. I like how things with Mortmain end, Clare didn’t even done surprising me. The plot, Clare is so evil. Jem, Will and Tessa, I am rooting for all three, and I am hoping for their happiness so much. I am still Team Will, as I really like how he is since I read it in the first book, I know there is something off him that make me attached to him. But, it doesn’t mean I didn’t love Jem too. It’s so rare I could say, rooting for two heroes. Will and Jem connection, them being parabatai, it just so right for me, and the perfect example of brother, their story… is so hurting but so much joy and tenderness. And I am very happy that finally, finally he could spent his life in joy with Tessa, being loved and love, until he dies. How Clare wrapped up the stories, another twist and turn, I couldn’t say more as I am tearing buckets reading this book. That Epilogue make me ugly crying reading it.

It took me a very long time to finally read this series but now that I’ve finished The Infernal Devices, I’m so glad I decided to read it. The only thing that in some very little time took me off from this book is the pace who sometimes so slow. Overall, that’s damn tolerable for me.
The series is worth your time.
