review 1: Qué novelita. Un montón de páginas para nada. Los protagonistas se acercan a penas cuando se lleva casi el 50% de la historia. Y consuman el amor al 85% de la trama. Demasiados detalles de nada. Por favor, no pierdan el tiempo con esto que venden y promocionan como una historia excitante y tórrida, pero que al final termina siendo una historia tan sosa como cualquiera, una novela más. No obstante, solo la curiosidad y la intriga de conocer el final me hizo culminarla. Y fue terrible. Me chocan las esposas de policías y cualquier otro juguete erótico, así que podrán imaginarse mi decepción cuando Cameron le dice a Jack que celebrarán su cumpleaños utilizando las esposas de él. Sí, pensarán que exagero. Tal vez. Pero no creo que tome otra novela de esta au... moretora.
review 2: Lo he disfrutado. Bastante predecible y sin nada que lo haga destacar... Excepto por el hecho de que sabemos quién es el asesino y sus motivos, lo cual nos ahorra la típica escena en la que el asesino se tira hablando dos páginas (en serio, se supone que ya ha hecho esto antes) y así el héroe, y la policía, pueden llegar a tiempo... Agradezco que en este libro no haya sido así.Me ha gustado el personaje de Cameron, así que le pondré 3 estrellas. Por lo demás, una lectura entretenida.------Enjoyable reading, nice book (better if the cover could have that horrible font changed), though I expected it to be boring.I'm rating this book that high (I have already read too many stories about tough FBI/NYPD/whatever guys staying with the pretty girl - who suddenly becomes the target of a murderer-, so this one was a bit predictable) mainly because of Cameron. I like women with a good head over their shoulders. I also liked the fact that Julie James showed who the killer is really soon. Am I the only one that finds rather unbelievable that the 'bad guys' decide to waste time talking to the victims instead of ending them? Well, James didn't make that unrealistic mistake and I totally appreciate that. less

Jó volt, szimpi főszereplők, izgalmas sztori meg minden. Klassz volt ez az ügynökös-ügyészes környezet, ilyesmit nem is olvastam még, ha jól emlékszem. Csak az nem tetszett, hogy egy idő után mintha kicsit leült volna… az esküvős hétvégétől kicsit lapos volt. Meg tényleg kár volt előre felfedni a gyilkos kilétét, ezt hagyhatta volna a végére az írónő. Ilyen nyári melegbe való könnyű olvasmány A hamis partner, nem bántam meg, hogy elolvastam, és ha belebotlok az írónő más könyveibe, szerintem azokat is csekkolni fogom. :)

C'est croustillant, très drôle, volcanique et savoureux. Le couple se déteste et ne s'en cache pas, du coup la tension entre eux donne lieu à des échanges irrésistibles. Oui, c'est cliché mais on s'en moque. Cela fonctionne à merveille, j'ai passé un super moment et je trouve le style de Julie James moderne, vif et pétillant. Elle privilégie la sensualité, et rien que pour ça j'adore !
