review 1: The 2nd series of FBI/US Attorney simply skyrocketed with its plot, characters. The development was so good that you just keep reading without a blink of an eye. Jordan Rhodes, an heiress with a sassy attitude is something to look for. Not a typical heiress who got her fortune easily but a lady with a down-to-earth character.Nick McCall, sarcastic is in his genes. It gets better from Pallas to him. The competitiveness between the both of them was hilarious. The list goes on and on, the families and friends of the protagonist were so intriguing which made me laughed. Overall, it's a 5 star for me.
review 2: A very fun pretend relationship contemporary romance. It's not a trope I typically enjoy (because it usually involves lying to people the characters care abo... moreut), but it works here because you understand why Jordan goes along with it, and she really goes out of her way to avoid lying to her friends and family, only doing so when it becomes clear she doesn't have a choice. I especially liked her relationship with her brother. Well worth picking up. less
